What do people in an IVA do if they need to borrow money to pay for car bill ?

hi I am in an iva and have recently had a large car bill. what do other people do if they need to borrow money to pay for car bill??

Hi pinglebo , you could ask your ip if they would allow a payment break or breaks so you could you that money for repairs , it's a genuine reason for a break especially if you need the car for work etc .

I am sure that you have done this already but do try a number of garages for quotes . Try the smaller garages too just to make sure that you get the best price.

Have a chat with your IVA company as they may be able to offer you a payment break so you can pay for the car repairs :-)

I would contact your IP in the first instance as often a car is vital to get to work to fund the IVA. All the best. x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
