mortgage interest 6.49% is it at all possible to find a mortgage provider who could offer a lower rate although we have an IVA, we have paid for 2 years so far. Not sure that anyone would look at us but looking for ways to reduce payments of £1615.00 a month.

I think that you will find it difficult to find a new lender to accept you if you are subject to an IVA Julie. Have you checked with your current lender that they have you on the best possible rate - and have you explored whether it would be possible to extend the period of the mortgage to get the payments lowered?

Hi

One point to consider is that if you do manage to reduce your mortgage payments it will increase your disposable income and hence your payment into your IVA
