I have received a notice of full implementation from my IVA company and IP

Is this the final piece of the jigsaw or do i get a certificate?

Cheers

That could well be it..well done. A quick phone call or email to your IP I'm sure will confirm but hopefully it's the final piece of that jigsaw.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Sounds like it -- the "Certificate" is only a letter ( well .. note really) confirming you have done your bit, the IP has done his bit and that he is no longer acting.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

Sounds like the same document, with just a different title. If your name is removed from the insolvency register, then you can take it as read that it has all been finalised.

Would be nice if it were written in latin, with a frilly bit top/bottom and round the sides.

If this is really important to people I am sure IPs could make the certificate look a littel more appealing. What do those of you who have recently had closures feel?

.... and delivered by a marching band, please :-)

Seriously, though. It doesn't have to be ornate, just obvious as to what it is ( I doubt many of us will frame it and hang it over the mantel ).

When I received mine from your company Melanie I knew immediately what it was to be fair, and was overjoyed to receive it, it could have been written on anything to be fair so long as it meant the end.

I demand a presentation and photograph of me holding the certificate, so I can put it with my degree photograph in that tatty old box I have somewhere :)
I can now do without.....
