hi i want to put new laminate flooring down in the bedroom am i allowed when in an iva or is it classed a non essential?

Simple answer is Yes, you can spend your hard earned cash on what you like in a IVA, have you saved up some money from your allowances for it?
Final IVA payment made in April 2013, never ever thought we could do it or get through it but we did! X

If it is essential - ie if you can prove that your current flooring is hazourdous to health then this may be possible, but how would you intend to fund the cost? If you are paying this out of your share of uplift payments, then you can do what you like with the money.
