Hi,
I'm just in the process of organizing my paperwork for an iva, have delayed for a few months to get my car fixed etc.

Have a few qs if you don't mind:
Am I right in thinking that CCJ payments & parking fines can't be included?

I understand that co-op won't allow new savings accs to be opened but anyone know if they have a habit of closing existing ones?

Many thanks!

hi puppy

not sure about parking fines or ccj's, but im sure someone will be along shortly who will

ref co-op bank - if they are one of your creditors ie any loan or overdraft with them is to be included in your IVA , then they will definately close your account once they are notified you are commencing an IVA
Last payment made April 2012
Certificate received 1st Nov 2012

They aren't linked to any creditors.

Hi and welcome

Parking fines no but CCJs yes if the debt is unsecured, keep paying the CCJ until any IVA is agreed

Utilities and council tax from pre IVA should be included regardless of where they come from.

It is possible that parking fines can be included if they were not issued by proper traffic wardens who are employed by the police. Your IP should be able to advise you further so show them details.

Not come across that one personally Michael - surely it is only the Court who can levy a fine. I appreciate that local authorities and private owners can levy default parking charges. The remedies for collecting fines and parking charges are somewhat different so far as I am aware, but I'd be interested to learn any more on this point.
