Hi Mad- Angler.
During your IVA the creditors may still have expected your wife's payments to be made towards the debt, and thy may have added interest and charges etc to the balance, which would have increased it.
Have you spoken to your IVA co about this yet at all, as they should be able to advise.
Started IVA 27th Feb 2012 - Due to complete 27th Jan 2018 !!
Full & Final submitted and accepted 30th March 2015, paid 10th April 2015 - 3 yrs 1 month into IVA
Completion Certificate received- 30th April 2015!!

Hi and welcome to the forum.
Not sure how joint debts work but they'll have received a percentage from your IVA. One of our experts will hopefully comment a little later so do hang around and we'll keep it bumped up for you x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
