I would think that as Nram are now government / public owned, that they would do what thy can to help, but I suppose if a majority of customers are like ourselves on IO while in an IVA and have an unsecured element in the IVA, thy may want to get back as much a they can.
I would pursue it littlemom. As mentioned beforehand, I too am with them and they are also a creditor. I Madurai end my mortgage by the age of 47 and hope that I can remain on IE until I can afford repayment!
Please do keep us all posted and don't forget that we are here for you x

Hi, just to update, I had no reply from NRAm after sending the begging letter, but spoke to them and they cannot help at all as they say our income doesn't look likely to improve?
I have felt sick for the last month over all of this, the mortgage rise will be on the 16 feb. We will have enough money to pay this one, but then we will be robbing peter to pay paul. Procrastination is my middle name as I have found it really difficult to do the income and expenditure as my husband is self employed. He has had hardly any work throughout January.
I'm sorry that I haven't replied to people who asked me questions, I can't find that post on here anywhere.
I have completed the I and E today and have just emailed ip to arrange a meeting to discuss possibly selling house to do f and f or which way we go now.
Just wanted to say a big thank you for the support on here, its time to face up to things again. Littlemom
