Hi
I finished my IVA and now waiting for the PPI
I have asked the PPI company whats going on and been told 2 weeks then 8 weeks I sent an email yesterday but not heard back My Iva company say up to 6 months
My question all the PPI issues are in the grey area and with mine starting before the PPI was not known when it was drafted I know the windfall clause for people may cover that
So in my case when the IVA is closed and checked over will the Legal team at the IVA Company check through and see if they can keep the PPI money or will they just take it regardless and keep me out of the loop
Or do I have to get on to them and chase them up
I got my report back saying that everything is paid up and they are waiting on the PPI and so far have some interest from the PPI less than £500
Would that be paid across to me
I just want to keep my head down and let them get on with it to be honest and it occurred to me today what if they dont check and take the PPI when It could be paid to me instead
I did phone my IVA company at the PPI time 2 years ago and they told me that to complete my IVA and then claim as if I had done it then it would have gone to them
I have an email as proof that I made that call and thats what I was told then
things change daily so see how it goes
Not complaining just curious and for people after they complete the IVA its not how you think it will be especially as now I am in Limbo and still not free as it should have been

PPI is a minefield on the forum at the moment, nearly every post includes it somewhere...hope it resolves for you very soon.
Sounds like you'll continue to be frugal as I do think it teaches all of us a lesson during the IVA term that we take post IVA with us. All the best. x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
