Just had my chairmans report through the door!
1 year left to go for me! All gone pretty smooth so far. A few hairy moments here and there but the last year really has flown by! when I started in 2008 I really could not see the end! By the time it all drops off my credit record I will be 30 so looking forward to starting a new chapter of my life without debt and hoping it will be better than my 20's!
For all just starting out or in the first year, i am sure everyone on here who is over half way or near the end can confirm the first part is the hardest. learning to budget and finding excuses as to why you cannot take part in all the nights out/parties/holiday/presents etc was the hardest for me! I am already planning what to do with the extra money I will have every month. We are going to go travelling for 3 months.
Keep strong all of you and heres hoping to the next 12 months being stress and problem free. xx
Exactly the same as us, similar age too!! Our final payment should be November 2013. Thats as long as we are in negative equity which im pretty sure we are. Well done, its a great feeling!!!
