Hi everyone
Would like to just ask how long it should take for an IVA to complete after the full and final settlement. Our F&F was accepted on January 18th and we are still waiting for it to be finalised and to receive our certificate. I was under the impression it would complete within 6 months but it has been over 10 months now. Have had emails back from Grant Thornton twice when ive emailed them first but not much else communication really and still no idea when we will be finally finished with our IVA. Any comments would be gratefully appreciated to see if this is normal or not.

Hi -- this is not an acceptable situation, but does seem to be becoming the norm, especially from GT, I am afraid. There have been numerous spanners thrown into the works of late, which is slowing everyone down, but GT seem to be getting slower than most.

Not a very helpful reply, I am afraid.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

What reason do they give for the delay in your closure - and have you been a GT client from the outset?
