Having received my certificate of completion last week I was stunned to see that I dropped off the insolvency register the following day !
unfortunately my Experian report has not updated yet, anyone any idea how long this will take?
I have read advice that states to send a copy of the certificate to each of the credit reference agencies, surely this isn't absolutely necessary ?
1 year since final payment and still no completion certificate

Experian may just be a bit slow to remove the IVA. Defaults from your creditors will drop off after six years but you need to check all three agencies to make sure that there are no defaults registered after the date your IVA was accepted. If there are then you will need to contact the data controller for each creditor doing so enclosing a copy of your completion letter and tell them to remove those defaults.
