hello i finished my iva in jan this year but havent had my compleation cert yet 8 months on ! the iva comp (dfd)keep saying they are waiting for the ppi co to send them the payments of the ppi they( made me ! make ) i have phoned the ppi co who said the account with them is compleat and invoice sent to DFD !ON 03.07 THIS YEAR how can i speed things along and or do you think i could take legal action against them for miss management of my account !!! also were they wright to make me claim ppi as i though if i alone was the one who could claim if i wanted too !!

Well done for finishing your IVA ...waiting for your certificate is in someways more difficult as you know you are clear and able to move forwards with things.....personally I would be speaking to the company in question on a weekly basis until the certificate is received ....I am sure it is solely the PPI issue, but keeping in contact with them may just act as a reminder ...let us know when you receive and well done again.

Hi and welcome TMH, well done on completing your IVA, unfortunately there does seem to be a big delay at present due to the PPI and also HMRC to some extent! I would speak to the company who dealt with your PPI, i presume it was EIF and ask for a copy of any documentation sent to DFD, once received then i would send copies and ask the question again, it might be prudent to actually email your IP as well. Fingers crossed that you get that all important CC soon, good luck. xx
