Where may I go to get a duplicate completion certificate ?

I completed my IVA 6 years ago and have misplaced the completion certificates. Our IVA practitioner has gone bust so is no help. I have a contact no in Birmingham however, all I ever get is the answer machine and no call back where might I go to get a completion certificate any thoughts? I would appreciate advice as experien still have me as having an IVA on their system

Hi and welcome.

Who was your original company? It may be that they were taken over by another and that you can get a copy of your completion letter from them.

Is the IVA still on the insolvency register, if it is NOT then put a dispute in with the credit reference agency explaining the situation.

The CRA should be able to get confirmation from the Insolvency Service that it was completed on such and such date.
We're willing to wipe the slate clean, give you a fresh start. All that we're asking in return is your cooperation.
