I think everything should be ok. I had some gambling debts but I would withdraw the money from my credit cards and gamble with the cash. Thankfully now I don't have the money or interest to gamble anymore
Hi, I stopped the month before I contacted the IVA company and I had to give three months bank statements so two months had the gambling on them and nothing was said.
Take what life throws at you and hold your head up high. You're only human after all!!!
Hi Somersetlala, glad to read you're feeling more positive this morning! Any addiction/habit is hard to break and you are doing a great job of it. There's no reason why an iva won't be suitable for you if you keep this up! x
I'm glad you're feeling more positive today. Things will move on in due course and it won't be long either way before you're heading towards debt freedom. x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
Just picked up on this thread - sorry Somersetlala I have been a bit lazy with forum posting over the weekend.
I do not unfairly judge any of my clients who have gambled in the past, neither do I take notice of a six month gamble free period. If my clients honestly tell me that they will not gamble again, I trust them and I have never been let down. We will process your application as soon as we can, and I shall hope to be speaking to you personally very soon once we have all of your documents gathered up.
