Hi I completed my IVA in March and have just checked my credit file with Experian and Equifax and these are still showing defaults regarding debts that were in my IVA can you tell me if these should have been ammended to satisfied and how I go about changing these.

You need to check the original default dates, as I suspect they are dated after your IVA start date. You need to send the guilty ones Data controller a letter getting them to correct the dates to your IVA start date, and if you have your completion certificate send them a copy of that too

Hi! I'm sure The Matrix will be along to help! Defaults should be moved to before your IVa was accepted so at the 6 year mark your files are clean.
