Ultimately best offer is just that and if the return is better than bankruptcy creditors are accepting what is on offer.

James Green holds the record in our office. He had four inlocking IVAs settled for 1/2p in the £ on debts of 16 million! This was at the first meeting of creditors and not to close an existing IVA. The banks got back £80,000 which they would not have got in bankruptcy and it was best offer.

Good for James! He is in my opinion, my saviour (as well as you Mike!) and although I never spoke to him I appreciate his assistance in our case.
