I just want to say a big thank you to Grant Thornton (my full and final settlement got caught up in the take over of Blair Endersby - who I had my IVA with).
Although there was a delay, the Grant Thornton team have always been professional and, once they had taken over, very efficient. I would recommend them to anyone.I was worried when they took over but couldn't be more pleased with their work.
It's absolutely wonderful to be debt free, and I can't stop looking at the certificate.[:)]
Also a huge thank you to the forum for fab advice when I was lost at start of IVA, it really helped me get through it.
It's been stressful, and I've lost lots of sleep, but I can assure anyone thinking about an IVA that it's worth every worried moment to be rid of the credit cards and loans which had me robbing Peter to pay Paul every month.
I hope to post and maybe help someone else as I was helped when I started.
Good luck to everyone!!
IVA started Sept 09. Glad to be on the way to being debt free

Well done on receiving the completion cert. It is a lovely feeling isn't it!

Please continue to post - even us 'experts' are not all IVA regulation experts - just experts at being in debt, sorting out the debt and learning to live frugaly. When I joined the forum this was much more important to me than arguing about PPI, VAT, who has the best IP etc!!
