5/6 Years does it go quickly? What if you need a new car or have another child....? Can you still go on holiday? x

Hi, my time within the IVA has gone quickly when I look back. Some months are more of a struggle than others and it's good to get to the end of the month but to watch the payment months go down is comforting.

Not had a new car within my IVA but had to take a payment break for a new boiler and the 3 months will be tagged on the end of my IVA.

Some of our posters have increased their family within an IVA it is possible, don't put your life on hold because of it, we just need to be sensible. You can go on holiday as any money saved within an IVA is yours to do as you want with or if someone gifts you a holiday then enjoy. Some posters enjoy sun breaks which can be accessed fairly cheaply.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

I'm surprised how far we have come but the ending still seems a long time away.

Hi I have 9 months left with careful budgeting I have just led a normal life and my experience seems to have flown. There are times which you will feel low and down, please be strong at these moments. It's easy to say but the IVA doesn't last forever and you have to remember thousands and thousands are in the same boat
