Hi. I had a variation meeting today. We are 4 years into our IVA and I lost my job back in Sept. We had been making nominal payments but I am finding it almost impossible to get a new job. We have cut back on everything we possibly could but still cannot make ends meet.
After lenghthy conversations with GT it has been decided that we would try to end the IVA with payments made to date.
Upon completion we should have paid in £20400. Payments to date are £17591. I just have to send in some paperwork and then they can put it forward to our creditors.
I just hope it is agreed. If not I really don't know what we will do.

Best of luck. Sounds like you`ve done everything you can. Fingers crossed common sense will prevail, can`t see it being in anyone`s interest to fail it after 90% completion

All the best from me too. GT will have given you good advice I'm sur so all the best and hope they accept payments made to date as a finalisation of the IVA. You've been trying by making nominal payment and cutting back. x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
