If I send the creditors a copy of my certificate proving the completion, will that speed things up as far as getting the defaults to show satisfied and £0 balance on my credit report with the 3 credit reference agencies?

Hi Jason,

Any defaults registering after the date of IVA acceptance need to be removed. Just send a copy of your completion letter to the creditors concerned and tell them to remove those defaults.

You need to do Experian, Equifax and Call Credit.

We sent our creditors a copy of the certificate and requested that any defaults posted after our IVA started date were removed. This did quicken the process of the creditors showing settled and balances zero, but won't change the fact it will remain on your credit file for 6 years from the start date.
