Hi. Technically, they cannot "overcharge". Any monies you can spare, over and above your allowable expenses and allowances should be paid to the IVA.

What they should furnish you with, however, is a statement of account, detailing where and when all the monies have been dealt with.

So, first thing is to ask for a detailed breakdown of your account with them.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

Hi,

Your annual reports should tell you how much you have paid over the years. Have a check through and if you think you've been over charged get your ip company to.check their figures.

Well done on reaching the end.

I would ask them for a breakdown of all receipts and expenditure and would also agree exactly what is required to conclude your IVA, if anything. I would do this sooner rather than later as until they have concluded their actions your IVA is still open and you will remain on the register.

You can only really check whether you've paid any extra by going through five years of payslips and reconciling them against a statement of account. I'm not sure what would happen if you've paid extra as presumably it will have been distributed by now. I don't think I'd bother holding up the closure of my iva to be honest. It must be a great feeling to get to the end and be debt free!!

They do have to do some admin at the end of the IVA so that would be about right.

Just keep checking with them.
