we are going into DMP and have filled what i thought was everything in apart from a past debt in my husbands name. it is a debt from his bank account he had years ago, so dont have his old account number and they are asking for this. We were paying a small amount in a DD, but the bank cant tell us any details. How can we find out?
I actually dont see how they can tell you they cant give you any details. these are details that you're entitled to know.
have you tried asking to speak to someone higher up in the food chain so to speak?
Failing that maybe the company overseeing your DMP could contact them??
Cheers. Will try what you have suggested so far. It all slows things down and i just want everything to go ahead so we know everything will be ok and start to relax and think about other things. Thanks again.
Have you thought of checking his credit record to see if the details are on there?

Already cancelled DD. Nothing yet from them. Never thought of doing the credit record thing Jan. Get the kids off to school and get started on it . Thanks. Thats if no one turns up at the door to see me.
I don't think you will have anyone turn up. It rarely happens and if it does you don't have to speak to them at all.

I ment no family or friends turn up. I find my sister calling in after the school run to see how i am. Its nice to have company sometimes, but there are things i dont want anyone to know about. I not the type of person to ask someone to leave. Anyway i keep you posted.
Duh!! How silly am I!!!! Sorry about that. Hope I've not upset you.

I'm glad about that. I do sometimes have a habit of opening my mouth on here and putting my foot in it!
