Hi
Yes, avoid someone that you have had credit problems with and/or has been included in your IVA

Try Halifax .... They have allowed us to open new account post IVA and we had had no credit issues with them before

It's definitely worth checking Callcredit as I found some of the information they held about me was completely wrong - apparently I was BR at 2 different courts on the same day!

Call credit are notorious for incorrect ( or out of date) info [:(!]
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

Santander (althought they were ABBEY NATIONAL at the time)were very good with us when we started on our IVA journey. Perhaps you could give them a try.
