At least it wasn't diesel in a petrol car -- much more problematic I am told.

Congratulations on the acceptance.

I couldn't think properly at the time. Luckily its an old merc and I was told by a mechanic to put as much diesel in on top as possible. So I did. It runs no problem even with 20% petrol in it. Amazing those old merc engines. They run on old chip fat apparently. I hope it lasts another 6 years. Its actually older than my son who is 14. Im just so pleased they accepted the proposal.

I did that to a whole convoy of landrovers when I was in the Army! Not popular with the MTO for a very long time!!

Brilliant news (well on the IVA front anyway). As for the petrol / diesal thing minor technical hitch for an old merc engine i'm told. Mind you Melanies whole convoy of landrovers would have been a different matter but think of all those nectar points she got! Once again well done and I truly wish you well for your journey towards debt freedom.
