I am 4 years into my IVA and have just checked my credit file.
Bizarrely, I am apparently a "good" risk with a score of 900 even though my IVA is detailed on there! I find that astonishing and very irresponsible.
Anyway, my question is this; I had a CCJ issued by one of my creditors as soon as I started paying them a reduced amount whilst in the process of setting up an IVA. Will this be removed when the IVA is removed as the amount is included within my IVA?

Hi and welcome. My understanding is the CCJ should not be entered once the IVA commenced. You can ring the credit file company up and they will look to review your account and make the necessary adjustments - you may have to contact the creditor direct sending a copy of your IVA report as proof of entering and IVA before they will remove it.
I too was a "good risk" all through my IVA according to Experian but at the end of the day - I am not looking for credit ever again apart from a mortgage and possibly a car loan!!!! Makes you smile doesn't it !
