Surprise surprise, I still haven't received my COC, however I have been informed that I should have it by Friday but when I enquired about the insolvency register and when I can expect to be removed I received the following answer
"With regards to being viewed on the insolvency register, once we send the closing correspondence to the court, The Insolvency Department and all of your creditors, they will update your credit status. It will, however, still show on the insolvency register for 6 years from the start of your arrangement that you have been in an IVA but it will be updated to show that your arrangement completed successfully"
Is this correct? I thought I came off the insolvency register but my credit report kept the details for 6 years?
They've got that wrong - it will come off the Insolvency Register within three months I think. It's your credit record that is shot for the full six years.
Someone has got their wires crossed!

Why am I not surprised!! Honestly I would never recommend DFD to anyone. They've provided no customer service, given incorrect information in a field that they should be experts in and in a area that is critical to be 100% accurate!!! Should I ask to speak to this woman's superior? They were keen enough to sign me up to this IVA but been lacklustere to complete it in a timely manner, without being chased and now without being correct!!
Can I also ask apparently some of my creditors haven't applied for their dividend share and I have been informed that as of today they can't receive their dividend. I just wanted to make sure that my creditors that have applied for their dividend will get the left over shared between them and it won't got into a DFD pot somewhere?
The creditors will get the remaining money spread between them, no worries there.
Hopefully Declan can pick up on this and help sort it out for you.

As long as DFD doesn't get the surplus I am more than happy! I have emailed the lady to ask her to recheck her information and get back to me as I have been very reliably informed that I do indeed come off the insolvency register
They won't get the money, it will all go to the creditors.

Hi
Crossed wires, the lady was talking about your credit file and not the insolvency register.
I am sure Declan will deal with this when he picks this thread up.
