Hi - I would think (and stand to be corrected) that you would only be credit checked when you become a signatory, rather than for each transaction.

susie do you have to re-sign a new mandate every time you move money. It may be that because this has already been done pre IVA you won't have the worry.

have you had to move any money since 10th.

Hi talcster - just say thanks but no thanks at the moment. You do not have to offer an explanation and a good employer would not expect one.

If you face any problems, let us know and I'll try and help. I work in HR..wouldn't describe myself as a guru ( BOL [:D]..may put that on my own CV [:D]) but will help all I can,

Julie - you're a guru! Your advice always sounds good so you're either great at HR or a great bluffer! Lol

Don't think I have been very clear in what I meant.

We sometimes open new accounts to invest funds longer term for a better return - which would mean I would have a credit search done.

Hi - you would need to decline to be involved in each new account opening as and when they come up or tell your employer about the iva so that being a signatory on new accounts is moved out of your role. I can't see any way of being involved and not being caught out in the credit check. Have a chat to Mel as she may have other ideas.

I agree that you should have a word with Mel, I know she is about tonight so she may well come on and advise you on here.

Understand now Susie. have there been no new accounts since your iva started then, it might be worth talking in confidence to your boss
