No need to worry Hoobily, if you want to work out how much you owe just remember that you are allowed a 4 week run on of child care if you stop using it, so work out what you received from end August to them stopping payment, if they are going to deal with this in the next tax year that amount will be divided up over the 52 weeks and your credits reduced accordingly. Hopethis helps

Thank you Nepensioner, thats really reassuring.
Well I spoke to them this morning and they said they wanted the invoices for April 2009 - the present day, which I have asked my old nursery provider for. But now I'm thinking what if they havent paid me right for the whole time?! I'm getting more worried each time I speak to them. Am i going to get in a load of trouble if I havent been vigilant enough with checking them? Tax Credits are really hard to work out and I feel like they are investigating me for Fraud! I have no idea about money (hence the IVA!)
Sorry if I am going on but I just want this sorted. And paid back.

Hi Hoobily
Please don't panic. As I said in an earlier post suspect that you are part of the random checking procedure for child care costs. IF it has gome pear shaped with your costs then 09/10 year will be recalculated and they will carry over any under/overpayment to a later year and adjust your tax redits accordingly. If they were investigating you for fraud then they would have stopped your payments altogether. Personally I would struggle to work it out manually myself. If you would like to talk to me off forum just add me as an FF(think thas how it works)
