We have been in our IVA since Feb 2007 with an agreed 6 year term. I was made redundant in 2008 and had our payments put on hold for a year whilst I got a new job. New job was a quarter of my previous salary, but better than nothing and our payments were reduced to 25p/£ and a term extended to 7 years to make up for the year lost. Things have been jogging along, although extremely difficult. Just as things seemed to be settling we are hit again, self employed hubby has run out of work and now the central heating boiler has packed up. No heating, hot water or £3k to fix it. Any suggestions, I am at the end of my tether. I daren't go to my IP, Melanie, she must be sick and tired of me.
