positive news?
hello everyone i recently posted as our iva is failing and we £107000 in the ive pay back 40000. a family member offered to give us £8000 for a f&f as the only other solution is BR. we have no equilty and nithing of value. anyway on advise i spoke to DFD who said they would put it to there solutions team who would look at it anyway i rang for an update and they said it has gone to my IP. the chap i spoke to said that could be positive as the solutions team see there is a dividend to the creditors and my IP will have the last say as to wether he will do a propsal...........do you that is positive news?? i dont know!!! plus DFD said they have no timeline on when they wil get back to me so im panicking a bit!!

Hi Sam,

Don't know if it is positive or not, but hopefully Declan will pick up on this tomorrow.

Anything that returns a dividend to creditors of more than they would get in bankruptcy has to be positive.

Hi Sam, good luck! It sounds a good offer and better than going BR so you instruct your IP to put this forward.

I'm sure Declan will pick this up tomorrow xx

Hi Sam
I know you emailed me before so I will look into this for you and get something more concrete back to you and hopefully some timelines in terms of what will happen.

Thanks
