A a few of you may remember I did a F&F IVA which started in August 2007 and finished in February 2008. My life as moved on now and it still feels good to be debt free. I received a email from Credit Expert a couple of days ago offering me another free trial as I had not checked my credit file for some time. There was no need to I knew what was on it. Since it was free check I took them up and checked my report. All the defaults were still there but now showing at various times during 2008. All after my IVA had completed. I have spoken to Credit Expert who have said they will look in to this as the defaults should not have been put on after my IVA was approved.
Do I need to check all my credit files to see if this has happened on them as well or will Credit Expert contact them ?
I think you need to check all 3 credit reference agencies, separately. Bear with me on this as I'm sure Jan or someone else will know as I've never checked mine. x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
You need to check all three, Experian, Equifax and Call Credit.
As to the defaults, you will need to write to the offending creditors and get them to remove them.
Experian won't do it for you.
