I have a feeling that NW are cherry picking in deciding who will get this card.Their website with the reference to this card+ card refers to people with letter "cc01" send to them. That implies it's not all inclusive of current NW card cash account holders.

JohnB, I'm sure you probably already know but you can do your Co-op banking at the Post Office and that which you can't do over the counter, you can do online.

We only have a basic account, and we haven't had a letter yet.

Had our letters Saturday, so looking forward to the new card and our sort code is different to that.

As far as I am aware, the sort code just refers to the branch and nothing else.

It's a pity Nationwide can't get their act together and have Faster Payments on all sort codes! If I transfer money from the Co-op to Dave's Natwest account it's in his account the same day, but if I transfer to my Nationwide account it takes 3 days!

Have to say that I have no problems with the speed of payments at the moment with Nationwide.

Don't think the faster payments will affect me, but will be happy to have the new card.

I only use Nationwide if I need to write a cheque, but it would be handy if I could transfer the money and know it went in straight away!

We do still have our Barclays full account open (complete with cheque book) as they were not one of hubby's creditors. We put any spare money across to that at the moment.

Hopefully things will continue ok with that so that it will be there when we finish the IVA.
