What can I expect to happen at the end of year 5 of an IVA?

If your IVA will complete at the end of year 5, then once you have made your final payment, you will receive a completion certificate and then you can start to clean up your credit record.

Do you have an equity release clause? If so, and you cannot remortgage, you may find your IVA will extend for a further 12 months.
