I haven't posted on here for a while - we initially started the IVA process in September, our papers were passed to IVA Bureau in October, and we have been waiting for information from my husband's company accountant since then, which only arrived last week!! It's been like getting blood out of a stone. Anyway, have sent everything on now and it all hinges on whether my husband's company accounts are ok as to whether we can proceed with an IVA proposal. Don't know how I've got through the last few months....and all the worry and panic is starting to set in!! Have started getting legal letters, etc., and MBNA had the cheek to call me at work today!! God only knows how they got my number.....sorry, rant over
i know how u feel.i started my iva march 2009 and the wait to get the iva approved was a nightmare.i could'nt sleep,i got psriosis all over,MBNA called me at work too..and my bank and MINT..felt so helpless and ashamed...
good luck on the approval..it does get better...
and u keep ranting!!..thats what this is for..
Thanks oreetspud...I thought we'd have well sorted it by now, but as I've said, my husband's company accountant has taken since October to send us the information we needed to enable our IP to properly review our file. In the meantime our debts have been increasing with interest being added, as we haven't made any payments because of the situation we're in - just hope our situation will be ok for an IVA - thank you so much for your words of support x
We will be sure to be looking at the accounts over the next couple of days, and will let you know whether there are any concerns. What a long time to get a simple set of accounts done!!
I couldn't agree more Mel - my husband's Accountants are atrocious - it literally has been like getting blood out of a stone, that's the only way I can describe it. Let's hope we can get sorted now x
