I am currently in month 3 of an IVA and looking towards the future.
I had been self employed, Ltd Company and gave a personal guarantee on an overdraft which has been included in my IVA. The bank are sending me threatening letters regarding the default on overdraft/loan. I am hoping someone can advise me on my position. Grant Thronton said I needn't worry as it is included but the continuing letters are concerning me.

Hi,

The best thing to do it just forward the letters on to Grant Thornton and get them to deal with these people.

Once a debt is incorporated in to the IVA there is nothing they can do anyway.

Ray and GT are both right. The debts are listed and the creditors are bound. The had the option at the time of the meeting to reject if they did not like the proposal so pass the letters to GT and tell the creditors to stop hassling you or you will report them.
