That's only what I read elsewhere so I'm only presuming it's true, but as they told me they don't recognise BR it wouldn't surprise me!

Oh to be able to afford to shop elsewhere!

I think we have a clear winner in the Co-Op lol.

I opened a 2nd account for paying bills from with them while in my IVA and it was fine, in fact I have been with 5 banks now and they are the first one never to have annoyed me in any way!

My other account is with the Yorkshire but I opened that about 3 months before going into an IVA.
1st payment Oct 2008, last payment Dec 2013. Certificate received March 2015 due to PPI claim.

Same here. I've got 2 Cashminders and the only times I've had a problem (none of which have been the Co-op's fault) they have been brilliant at sorting them out.

I've still got a pre BR Nationwide account but I stuck with the Cashminder as although it's a basic account I can put up with that as the customer service is so good.

The Co op it is then. I'm with Yorkshire bank at the mo but wanted to open a joint account with my other half and they said even their basic readycash account they now credit score - 12 months ago they didn't, so they said they couldn't help. I will hopefully get a coop account sorted over the weekend. Thanks everyone for your feedback very much appreciated.
