where do i start...my debt equates to approx £29500 from 4 creditors, a bank loan and 3 credit cards. my income is £1250 per month. i own my own home. my fiance is a salesman so his earnings are hard to predict, but hes averaged approx £1500 a month. between us i have my debts which pretty much are £800 a month, and the mortgage and house bills which we pay together at approx £1100 a month. this is before food,petrol etc.we get tax credits and child benefit for our 2 children of approx £170 a month now, but our childcare costs are £600 a month in total. im getting desperate now and want help and advice on IVA's and if you think i would be approved?

Hi there and welcome to the forum. I think you've managed the first step by acknowledging your debt situation and secondly finding us.
I would suggest you take a look at www.iva.com and there you'll find a list of companies and some reviews, choose 2 or 3 IP's to contact and get some free, impartial advice specific to your situation.

It looks to me as if you are not affording the £800 which you need to repay your debts under normal contractual terms, in which case you should seek advice before the situation gets worse. There are bound to be several solutions which you could consider, and as your debts are not that high in the great big scheme of things, knowing what you are able to do ought to enable you to see into the future in a far more positive manner.
You are not alone in this, and at least you are taking a responsible attitude to managing your debts.
