Hi Mel,

Well...the story goes like this...I wrote a lengthy email to my IP explaining in so many words that I thought it was unfair that the outcome of my offer could be jeopardised by an error on their part.

I received an email back very promptly from my case administrator saying that they had had a meeting regarding the matter and were trying to contact the creditors that didn't vote at the first meeting to see if they could get confirmation of their votes before the date of the 2nd meeting. (at the first meeting I had approx 53% votes in favour of my offer).

Following this process, I had another email to say that confirmation had been received that the other two creditors did not wish to vote and therefore my full and final offer had been ACCEPTED!!!! They are cancelling the second meeting in view of this!

I'm just waiting for a copy of the Chairman's report to be sent to me and they have said I will receive a certificate of compliance approx 6 weeks after they receive the f&f funds from my partner.

I haven't had any instructions on when this needs to be paid or if I need to continue making payments until I get the certificate...I have actually just cancelled the standing order to my IP as I don't feel it's necessary to pay them any more token payments now my offer has been accepted!

I just want to say - thank you for all your help and advice - I honestly don't know what I'd have done without the support of this forum and without Experts such as your good self providing wise words of advice! I have cried many happy tears since my good news yesterday!

Now I can look forward to a debt-free life!

xxx love and best wishes to all who post on here - I'll continue to visit the forum! xxx

Vickilou I am sooooo pleased for you!

This has been a long slog, thank goodness it's all finished.

Good luck for the future, and keep us posted as to how you are getting on.
