hi not been on for a while, iva going really well, just one question i bank with thinkbanking who charge us a monthly fee of 17.50,the halifax has opened a basic account for me,only problem they were the creditors we owed the most money to,do you think banking with them again is ok,they wont just clean me out if i get our wages etc paid in,i was with them for 17 yrs originally

I would be careful of putting your money with a creditor who is included in your IVA - they are unlikely to swipe your money, but they may close the account if they have a policy of not supporting IVAs.

You could try the Secure Trust account which also has a monthly fee, if you are unable to find free banking elsewhere.

recommendations regarding banking while in a iva, always state bank with a company you have no debt with.so you have full control of your funds.

If you are sure that the conversation you had is safe enought moving forward, then this should be fine.
