Whilst I have no intention of getting into this bother again, there may come a time when I do need credit - if I want to change mobile phone companies for example. At the moment I can't do that ( a good job I like O2 isn't it?)
I shall do my best to clean my file up in case I do need anything.

The reason I am happy to let my iva run its course I had the opportunity to offer a F&F but I knew defaults and IVA will be on file for six years so you might as well stay on thee plan. I actually wanted to stay in my IVA I have said before I felt very safe and need a period in time to reflect, slow my pace of life down and find some inner not material wealth !!!
On the slow safe road to success. Personal thanks to Melanie Giles Kallis Skippy Elv5 and all the other wonderful forum friends.
Kabby3 that is exactly how I feel, not sure I'd turn down the option to complete a F&F but I feel secure in my IVA and guided.
I once said on here I enjoyed being in an IVA and a lot disagreed but I can honestly say it's not bothering me, it's changing my life but only for the better as it's changing my thinking of what does make me happy x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
My IVA doesn't bother me at all as we are managing at the moment.
I wouldn't turn down the opportunity to do a full and final though.

Hopefully, our kids will have learned a lesson about finances as well. I know my daughter is very wary where credit is concerned. I don't know why I loved spending so much - my parents always brought me up to be careful with money, but I haven't been.
Not anymore though - I've got my second chance and I intend to stay out of trouble!
If I can't afford it, then I save up for it.
