self employed about to go into an iva

self employed about to go into an iva with melanie all being well just got a court claim form through and dont know how to handle it for 400 ..... i had explained to the company i could pay in portions they issued anyway what should i do i have only 2 days left to respond

Pass it to Melanie's team. Even if you have a CCJ it stays on your credit file for 6 years as do defaults etc. If you have supplied all the info to Melanie her team will be able to have the IVA in place before the creditor gets a CCJ registered anyway. Do not worry but let them know and they can tell you what is needed to complete the file.
