hi, i have just been told that our bankruptcy case has been transferred form the cardiff office to swansea but dont know why , is this normal or is there something wrong we when br in april. wondered if anyone on here could advice
thanks
thanks got a bit worried for a mo, i was contacting them because we are unable to continue to pay the mortgage but dont know how to go about leaving it, we are going to live with friends untill we save deposit for a rental, so cant keep up mortgage as well cos they want about 6 month rent. and as the house is under or control dont know whether to send them the keys or building society .
As per the earlier reply - the transfer is probably down to volume of work, unless of course your address is within the Swansea catchement area. It is quite common for offices to send cases to each other to ensure clients are dealt with in the quickest possible time but due to volume of work and staffing it may be better to transfer cases in between offices during times of difficulties. Having worked for 23 years in both the officer mentioned I can assure you the actual location of the office is irrelevant, they are both good offices with excellent staff who will deal with you professionally and sympathetically at all times.
