Hi All,

I think I have asked this question before but can't remember the answer - when I get married will my iva have to change - just to confirm my debt was by no way caused by him (we weren't even together when I got into debt)
In a nutshell - if I can still afford the payments can I continue to pay it with no changes (which is what I would like to happen)

Thanks

Your IP will take into account any changes that your marriage causes to your ability to make your payments - ie if you move in with your spouse then there may be some difference to your expenditure - as two people can generally live cheaper than two people living independently. Your IP will want to know how much your spouse earns so he/she can calculate whether there is a fair sharing of expenditure based upon your earnings.
