Hi Everybody!!!

Thank you so much for your kind words. Im still not sure its actually sunk!! It does feel very strange but im sure im going to get used to it.

For those of you still going.... keep plugging away at it. It does come to the end just sometimes not as fast as we like!! But I think the amount of time we are in our IVA's its long enough to actually change how we deal with thing financially.

I suppose I need to wait and see how the registry goes and when we get off it. And then have a look at our friends at Experian and see what they have us marked down for!!!
I don't feel im ever going to stop going on here because I can understand how people are going to feel just starting and going through it. Its a big thing and its been a huge comfort for us to be able to share our ups and downs and frustrations on here with some really nice people like yourselves to get through the IVA.

Once again many many thanks.

Baldy.

PS will let you know how the credit clean up goes[:D]

Good luck with your CRA file clean up mission baldy,

I`m just in the first throws of a battle with Halifax Bank regarding their `creative` updating philosophy.

Hey Andrea!!! Well done. Its unbelievable eh.

I keep thinking ive got to send the wage slips off at the end of the month!!!

Goose: Hows your file cleaning been going? Have you had any major issues?
I cannot wait to sort mine out asap but our IVA 6 year anniversary is not till the end of October 2016.

I know on the registry it says 3 months but im thinking if the get notice early they might update it in November!!!

Probley no chance?

How about your file clean up Andrea?

Baldy

I have checked the credit file and all the default dates are the same (August 31 2010)and correct, so hopefully not going to be a problem. We did a full and final January last year. Cannot wait to see the credit score rise from very poor to something a bit more respectable!!!!
We left the UK in July last year, now living in Spain and loving it. House in the UK going on the market next month then looking to buy here. Life is sweet.

It will be interesting to see how your clean ups go. Mine isn't until the end of this year, some dates a couple of weeks late, but I can live with that.

I have purposely done nothing at all towards the clean up as I want to see, first hand, what happens with no interference .... then start clearing any mess left behind. Luckily I have no real need to see my score improve, so can experiment :-)

Keep us informed all :-)

My IVA has dropped off all 3 CRAs and most of the defaulted accounts have gone too, I was having an issue with Halifax regarding a current account and the way it was being recorded on my files, but that seems to have been sorted (touch wood).

I've got 2 accounts that were defaulted incorrectly but by only 3 weeks so I'm just leaving them hoping they drop off at the end of August.

If it's the full 3 months before my IVA comes off the IR, then it'll be mid October before it's removed.

I'm hoping that I'll have a clean slate by the end of October.

It does happen sometimes - both myself and my husband were off within two weeks but others, such as Foggy, had to wait the full three months.
