Unfortunately I am in Middle East so not easy. I have finally made contact initially they blamed IT problems but then got an acknowledgment that not enough creditors bothered to vote
So dealing with lazy IPs and creditors who can't be bothered
Was told today adjourned for another week Can't help
Feeling will be in same situation again

So sorry to hear that - hopefully they chase those creditors up next week.

Really feel for you.

Hi

75% in value of creditors voting have to approve the variation.

That means if only one creditor votes for £1 and they vote in favour the variation will go through.

'not enough' creditors doesn't quite make sense unless they mean either that no creditors voted or the majority of creditors voted against the f&F.

I would ask them to clarify what votes were received.

Let's hope they're working hard on your behalf to increase those votes whilst it's adjourned.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Eventually I did get an apology and satisfactory reply once after persistence to get through to a name who is looking after my case. As my wife and I have Interlocking IVA,s no one from my wife's creditors bothered to vote but my side have agreed even though the bulk of debt was in my name. Apparent,y have to wait it's these creditors will have to be chased up. Whilst I accept this it is so frustrating the amount of jumping up and down I have to do to get something done and reply

I take it you had no joint creditors at all? It's bad if her creditors haven't voted.

No joint creditors at all. Always was a strange o e which I never fully understood but I was reluctant for my wife to enter into an IVA but the original firm advised that we should go into it together as it affects us both whether it is single of joint.
At the original proposal for entering into out IVA none of her creditors voted either and had to be chases up by the IVA firm for it to go through. My wife's debt only accounts for approximately 5% of joint total but a number of creditors owning like £100 here £200 there but nothing significant. So I can sort of see why they can't be bothered as little return

Hopefully at least one of your wife's creditors votes in favour by the date of the adjourned meeting. Keep the pressure on the IP to chase this up.

I would most certainly make a complaint about the customer service you haven't received.

Thanks but don't think it would get me anywhere apart form raising my own blood pressure. They seem to do things in their own time when it suits them and this to me is simply not good enough unless and external body has some influence over them.
Can't help feeling that if this goes through which I still hope it does, it is only the start of my battles to get the completion certificate.

The Government Gateway will deal with complaints once you have followed your Nominee's complaints procedure which is usually detailed in their engagement letter or online.

It would be a shame to have to do this at the first hurdle.

Found out a couple of days ago that my offer was accepted, which is a relief, and Creditfix and given all sorts of excuses the last one staff sickness for delay in getting back to me. They wanted the person who is providing the funds to forward the money within 28 days, but both of us are abroad at moment, is it acceptable for them to transfer the money into my account and for me to forward it onto Creditfix as I have already their bank details and easier to do it online?

That's great news but customer service is awful!!

I would check with Creditfix but I imagine it would be ok.
