The only IP I know who does the bankruptcy clause is Payplan - you just get them to remove it and they will!

Make sure you send everything to them via post registered/recorded delivery so they cannot dispute receiving the documents from you.

Ask them to remove the Bankruptcy clause in any variation put forward. Some firms put this in as part of the course, which I don't like.

Once they have all the info they need from you they have to put the variation to creditors within 3-4 weeks depending on your terms.

I would make a formal complaint here. You could have finished your IVA months ago.

If you have continue making contributions I would also now reduce the original offer you made to reflect this.

Hi there.

Just a follow up on this.

I finally had my meeting yesterday , nearly 17 months later.

I know this isn't acceptable however my meeting was successful and they have agreed final settlement figure.

I'm a happy bunny , thanks everyone for all your advice.

Regards.

Personally I would still follow up with a complaint - if not for you but to prevent this type of delay from happening to someone else out there - you say you had no reasonable explanation as to why its taken this long to get to this stage.

Best of luck for the future.
