Hi All!!!

I've not been on here for a while but was wondering if anyone has managed to obtain car finance through a main dealer since IVA??

Our IVA finished October 2014 and are credit files have been clear since November 2015.
No trace of IVA.
Our credit score is good.

Hubby's car has now become unviable to fix and we are thinking of buying a new one.

Thanks for your help
An IVA is a long hard road but valuable lessons have been learnt along the way. Now looking forward to enjoying a debt free future!

I think you may be ok but you can always check the likes of Moneybarn.

Apparently I'm now a blue chip customer and was pre approved for car finance through Alphera (bmw finance).

Who'd have thought eh?!?

Good luck.

Yay we got it!!!
Really pleased to be rid of our two "old bangers" we have purchased two new cars for less than our Iva payment with the peace of mind 1. They will start[:D] 2. Both have service plans and warranty in place for 3 years so no more extra needed in paying out for repairs, car tax is £20 a year and insurance is halved due to being new cars!!!

And we have booked and paid for a much longed for family holiday ( with our savings) so life post Iva is good [:)]
