Has anyone received there completion certificate from Grant Thornton since signing the new PPI authorisation letters for SHL last year. I signed new forms at the beginning of last year and the IVA should have finished in October. We are wanting to get a mortgage through the armed forces help to buy scheme but can't do anything until we get the completion certificate.

Hi and welcome,

I'll keep this bumped up so hopefully someone can answer.

The other thing I suggest is that you keep pressing them and explain the reason why.

Hi I received my CC earlier this month, our Iva finished in November but December came and I chased things up ...........ended up having a meltdown on the phone as expected cc time was 8 months!!!! Tbf girl on phone very supportive and pushed for closure!! I today have received my Iva interest money into my account however in dispute over the amount received as they have taken over 60% in fees when I claimed the ppi myself!!! Total disgrace was awarded £1152 after tax received £414.

Good luck keep pestering them!!

Hi Jo Was it your payments that finished in October? GT apparently take up to 6 months to close their IVAs so you might be hanging on until April.

Suggest you write to them and ask for an explanation for the delay and keep the pressure on for them to close quickly.

I have PPI still going through with GT/Aperture, however received my CC yesterday. The IVA was concluded on 14th December. I was told that the PPI claims can run alongside the closure, and not cause delay. It just means if anything is due, GT get it first. As Lisa says, keep pressing them.
*GT/Aperture Last Payment-01/07/2015
*GT/Aperture Account Closed-13/01/2016
*GT/Aperture Completion Cert-21/01/2016
