Having checked my report today post full and final start of December the iva still shows as active. I know it stays on for 6 years but does the status change to settled or anything?

Hi,

On your credit record it will still show for the full six years and won't changed as far as I am aware.

Should drop off the Insolvency Register within three months.

Hi, I wrote to all the credit agencies and included a copy of my cc. It still shows on my files (it will until the 6 years are up) but it now shows as completed with the date of completion. I also did this for the insolvency register and that too shows as completed.

Hi mine shows as completed but my husband still shows as active and although it's was a joint iva he never appeared on the register. Barclays still shows his report as not updated our iva company keep saying they will sort this but nothing ever happens.

I've always wondered, as mine was a 6yr IVA, does that mean it will stay on record till the 7th?

No - once it is completed and the IP lets the agencies know then it will drop off your record.
