I've been in an IVA now for over 3 years and when I first started it I checked insolvency register and my name was there (along with my wifes). I've just checked again today and both our names have been removed??

Any idea why?

I have never heard of this before so sounds strange to me. Are you definitely in an IVA? As far as I am aware your name doesn't usually come off the list until after you have been issued your CC within 3 months after your IVA has been closed.

Definitely in an IVA Lisa .... it's with Stepchange.

Our names were on the register before so it's a strange one [?]

It might just be a glitch computer wise - keep checking to see if it comes back on.

I wish they'd spelled mine wrong when I was on there. Pesky register wants removing from public view but that's another posting.

Be one good time not to find yourself so hope you don't reappear.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

what would happen if you're on the insolvency register and then changed your name by deed pol ? I presume the IVA register wouldn't be updated ?

hey Longslog101, This happened to me. I went through a change of name after my details were put onto the register. My IP (GT) were informed of my change of name and they updated their paperwork but they hadn't contacted the register at the time.

My old name was still showing on the register but left it and then when my CC came through the post I contacted the register and I was advised to contact GT who then contacted the register to confirm my change of name and then my details were then removed....
IVA commenced April 2009 and completion certificate issued on the 25th August 2015..

PPI still on-going

I'm there....
